![]() ![]() We’ve visited the Eiffel Tower several times and our post has all the information you need to plan your visit to the Eiffel Tower, including how to get there, how to buy tickets, where to get the best views, how to book a guided tour, where to eat, and how to save time and money. If you value your time, you’ll want to do a bit of pre-planning before visiting the Eiffel Tower. The problem is, everyone else wants to visit the Eiffel Tower too! The Eiffel Tower is the most visited paid monument in the world and receives an average of 25,000 visitors a day! New security screenings can slow down the visiting process, and tickets often sell out. It’s a must see for all visitors to Paris. The iron tower is both an amazing feat of engineering and an inspiring symbol of the City of Lights. The River Seine was a five minute walk away, along with the original Statue of Liberty (For any tourists out there!!) Breakfast was superb with a lot of choice that suited everyone. The Eiffel Tower is one of the most iconic landmarks, not just in Paris, but in the world. ![]() It was the perfect location to either Javel or Charles Michel metro stations, and a 15 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. ![]() There was always someone on reception too for any enquiries. On arrival, the 'building site' is literally almost complete and was in no way a disturbance or issue throughout the entire trip, (and our window over looked it too - no noise) This hotel has amazing friendly staff who recommended us travel to Disney Land and a local restaurant. However, it didn't put me off and I went ahead and booked. After reading some reviews prior to arriving, a lot seemed to mention a 'building site' across the road. A lovely 4star hotel was just a big shame about the cleaning we heard above us in the early hours when we had to be up and ready at 6am.Īs a lover of Marilyn Monre and the Hollywood vintage theme, I decided to book this hotel as part of a Eurostar package for my Boyfriends 24th Birthday. The theme to the hotel was nice which was the main reason my girlfriend chose the hotel. ![]() Supermarket across road was handy and so was mcds down the road if you fancy it?. All in all was a good trip just wished there was a bit more going on near the hotel I.e restaurants, bars, shops. Staff were helpful and arranged taxi for us for when we left for the gare du Nord, which was most appreciated. Room was clean and maids fixed up the room lovely for us the next day. I'm not sure where people are getting 15 mins from? As we took back street style route and main road walk and both took longer. As for location we were disappointed as its right next to a construction site and the walk to the Eiffel Tower was approx 30/45mins. Myself and partner stayed at the platine hotel for two nights this week, all was well until the last night when we had to get up early to leave the next morning, cleaners decided to start hoovering yes hoovering! Above us somewhere on one of the floors at 1:00am?!?! Room was quite small although still nice, bathroom was lovely with a modern led lit shower which was nice. ![]()
